Salary: £45,000 per annum

The Role:
As the HR Manager, you’ll lead a busy team of HR professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality HR services across the organisation. You’ll play a crucial role in developing management capabilities, supporting organisational growth, and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide expert HR advice and guidance across all aspects of people management
– Manage complex employee relations cases and organisational change projects
– Oversee recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with safer recruitment practices
– Develop and deliver training to enhance management skills and foster a positive organisational culture
– Manage HR systems and provide insightful workforce reporting and analytics
– Contribute to strategic HR initiatives and organisational development projects
– Ensure compliance with employment law and best practice in all HR activities
– Manage delegated budgets effectively

The Ideal Candidate:
We’re seeking a CIPD qualified (Level 5 or above) HR professional with experience in a medium to large organisation. The ideal candidate will have a background in charity, healthcare, training, or further education sectors. You should have a strong track record in handling a range of HR casework and the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels.

Essential skills and experience:
– Proven experience in managing a HR team
– Strong knowledge of current employment law and its practical application
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Proficiency in HR information systems and data analysis
– Experience in managing organisational change and development initiatives
