Executive Recruit have another Interim HR Director job vacancy for a Cambridge based client – handled by our South East office.
An established and profitable retail business is seeing to appoint a human resources director on an interim basis to lead their change management programme.
Our client is an established, leading fashion retailer with a highly respected image both on the high street and online. Their rapid expansion over the last year has brought with it various HR challenges and they are now seeking to appoint an interim HRD to support the firm’s CEO with their programme of change management.
This is a 6-9 month assignment based at their head office in Cambridge, which is also home to their main warehouse and distribution depot. If you are seeking a generalist role which will utilise a wide range of your HR skills, particularly focussed on change management, employee relations and senior level recruitment, this role would be ideal.
Ideally experienced to level 7 CIPD or higher, you will be directly reporting to the CEO and will work with him to devise, implement and evaluate the company’s HR strategy. Key areas they need the successful candidate to address include improving employee engagement and streamlining and modernising their HR procedures and policies.
You will need to be well versed in current employment law and experienced in employee relations, disputes, tribunals, disciplinary hearings and related facets. Employing many truly remarkable individuals, you will need to be able to work with the firm’s senior managers, helping them to maximise their teams’ potentials.
Remunerated at upto £500 per day, you will be based in Cambridge so this role may suit candidates living in the Midlands, Essex, Kent and London. You will be required to regularly travel to our client’s secondary distribution hub in Scotland as part of the role, working with their senior management team and satellite HR office there.
