A pharmaceuticals company in Manchester, behind some of the most innovative and important medicine research in the world at the present time, is looking for a new Resourcing Manager. You will report directly to the HR Director and manage a team of HR Business Partners, payroll officers, HR assistants and learning and development managers, developing and leading the human resources function.

Our client employs a large number of people and you will take responsibility for developing and implementing every aspect of human resources, from marketing and recruitment initiatives and alumni events to reward and recognition, pension auto enrolment roll-out and the business’ wider objectives relating to its people.

Seeking to ensure that it can continue to attract the best candidates in the pharmaceuticals marketplace, our client is keen for successful candidate to reenergise their recruitment image, increase their activities and work with the learning and development team to improve their employee engagement and retention credentials.

Applicants will need to have led multiple internal stakeholder teams, worked at a senior level in an energetic HR environment, developed recruitment and HR policies, processes and strategies to good effect and be experienced in employee relations.

Taking our client’s people and HR policies to the next level requires an outstanding communicator, both written and verbally, who is not afraid to voice their opinions and engage with the full range of stakeholders, primarily internally but also external. Depending on experience, the salary offered is between £80,000.
