Our media and digital client in London is looking for a technology-hungry Chief Technology Officer to lead their world-class IT team.
As someone immersed in the world of IT, with a hunger to constantly keep abreast of the latest developments in technology, the role of Chief Technology Officer for this exciting, vibrant and fast-growing media and digital company will present an outstanding opportunity.
From their state of the art offices in central London, they are a recognised and respected player in digital media, having pioneered some of the most revolutionary online video advancements of recent times. They are also home to a software development house, focussed on SaaS.
Reporting to their charismatic and knowledgeable CEO, you will lead the way in formulating our client’s information technology vision, milestones and overall strategy. If it relates to IT, you will own, lead, improve and be the go-to for it, from developing our client’s enterprise architecture framework and leading global IT change programmes, to researching and developing new areas of business our client may venture into.
Making a strong case for improvement, you will ensure that our client’s business uses the pinnacle of hardware, software and other systems and technologies, to maintain their leading status in the industry, both internally and in terms of the services they offer to their clients. At the same time, you need to have a strong hold on figures so that the company’s IT budget is managed effectively.
The solutions, systems upgrades and business processes you recommend must achieve maximum ROI and you will possess strong communications skills, able to effectively make your case to a wide range of stakeholders who may not always be supportive. Able to solve problems effectively, you will possess a deep understanding of video, cloud solutions including hybrid, Microsoft .NET, advanced networking and data storage knowledge, Agile and Scrum, tools for migration and monitoring, BYOD usage, proven experience in a digital marketing environment and strong practical experience in IT security.
This exciting role’s high profile and level of responsibility are rewarded by a salary of up to £130k depending on experience and will provide an excellent opportunity to raise your profile even further in the City.
