Executive Recruit have another Part-Time Non Executive Director job vacancy for an London based client – handled by our South East office.

Our client is an NHS trust with an excellent history of delivering performance and quality, winning a best practice award in 2013.

Their goal is to continuously better their healthcare provision and services, for the benefit of their patients. Similar to the majority of NHS trusts around the country, our client is experiencing significantly increased demand for their services, whilst at the same time they are having to manage budgets which are more challenging each year.

As a Non-Executive Director, you will join their board with a pre-existing inside knowledge of the NHS. Passionate about excellence in healthcare, with genuine care for patients, you will be able to demonstrate a successful senior level career, ideally in a not for profit or large public sector body. You will need to possess and be able to demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders, particularly the other board members.

Our client seeks someone who can show a great deal of integrity, commitment and hard work, with the aim of promoting, reinforcing and improving the trust’s aims and objectives. It is a part-time role, which will also require strong numerical and analytical skills, plus experience of human resources and the development of talent, which you will be asked to consult on from time to time. Primarily working from the trust’s headquarters in London, you will be required to commit two days per month to the position and may be required to visit other NHS establishments around the country on occasion.
