Executive Recruit have another Audit & Compliance Manager job vacancy for a Manchester based client – handled by our North West office.

An exciting opportunity to impart your compliance and audit expertise for a leading banking institution.

Working from their Manchester office, the Audit & Compliance Manager will be assigned responsibility for planning, implementing and evaluating compliance audits of authorised fund managers undertaken externally. You will provide fund managers with technical advice, sharing your years’ of accrued knowledge in audit and compliance in the financial services sector.

The role will involve ensuring that all departments in our client’s organisation are fully aware of regulatory standards, changes and interpretations, so that the required standards are met and audits can be undertaken efficiently.
Our clients are looking for candidates fully versed in the Financial Conduct Authority Handbooks, OEIC Regulations and other legislation such as the Financial Services & Market Act 2000. You must have previously worked in a senior compliance role, ideally within a similar banking institution, and the role will require outstanding collaboration and communication abilities, along with confidence in reporting, presenting and producing documentation and recommendations.

The financial services industry is becoming increasingly more regulated, so the role of the Audit & Compliance Manager is vital in ensuring the financial, legal and aesthetic credibility of our client’s organisation. Our clients have revised many of their financial services in recent years and will expect the successful candidate to provide continuous advice, working with external bodies and other stakeholders to agree on best practice and maintain a culture of transparency and professionalism. This is a permanent position with remuneration of up to £70k depending on experience.
