Executive Recruit have another Regional Executive job vacancy for a Leicester based client – handled by our Midlands office.
Manage the Midlands area of our client’s nationwide leisure business in a unique and exciting role as Regional Executive.
Our leisure industry clients offer something a little different to the norm and their business has proved extremely popular since they launched in 2003. Following a restructure, they now require a Regional Executive to oversee their Midlands complexes.
A high percentage of their niche leisure sites comprise both indoor and outdoor sections, so the range of suppliers you will come into contact with as Regional or Area Manager are varied, from safety equipment and clothing suppliers to landscapers and fence installers. Having responsibility for our clients’ team in your region, you will act as trouble-shooter, providing them with assistance when called for. You will hold regular meetings with each centre’s local manager, accounts clerk, safety representatives and general maintenance personnel, ensuring that each centre is operating in line with the overall company’s objectives and targets.
Regional marketing will also come under your remit, as the company favours locally tailored marketing rather than central and generic campaigns. Ensuring that each centre’s staff are motivated and following procedures is also vitally important and you will assist the Group HR Manager based at our clients’ head office with any HR issues which arise.
This is an energetic and all-encompassing role which will provide a good degree of autonomy. Your responsibility and tenacity will be rewarded with a salary of up to £70k and our clients are looking for someone with relevant management experience who is confident enough to really take the lead.
