Lead the financial function of this exciting, entrepreneurial and fast-growing information technology company as they implement aggressive growth plans.

The opportunity for an experienced CFO/FD to join a high tech business as pioneering and successful as this doesn’t arise very often. Having experienced industry-leading success and achieved record profits, our clients seek a commercially aware, forward-thinking individual to lead their finance department and take responsibility for all contracts, accounting, budgets, forecasts and reporting.

You will manage a team of direct reports in a hands-on manner and play a vital role as part of the senior management team, working closely with the CEO and COO to develop the company’s financial strategies and objectives. Compliance will form an important element of this role as you ensure that the business’ financial activities adhere to legislation, best practice and policies.

Candidates must have accrued at least 7 years’ experience in a senior financial role. Strong knowledge of the IT industry and its rapidly evolving technology will be to your advantage, matching our client’s aims to appoint a technically astute individual who is passionate about technology-based solutions. Taking the lead with budgets, forecasts and strategies, you will devise relevant, effective financial models to achieve the company’s objectives, demonstrating shrewd strategic ability as our clients progress with their plans to enter new markets. Ideally holding Chartered ICAEW or CIMA status, you will be an outstanding communicator and influencer, highly adept at cooperating closely with the board and liaising with investors and other groups, whilst effectively managing and motivating the finance team at all levels.
