Lead our retail clients to the next stage in their development, imparting your experience to their finance team and playing a pivotal role in financial strategy.
With a large portfolio of stores and concessions across the country, our clients are established and well known. They have achieved consecutive growth over recent years and are currently seeking to appoint a new Group Finance Director.
A board position, you will report to the CEO and work with the other directors in implementing this exciting retail company’s business aims by taking the lead with overall control and responsibility for all aspects of financial accounting, reporting and administration. You will oversee the successful operation of the UK-wide finance team and will be ultimately responsible for all financial recruitment and personnel development.
Managing cash flow and working capital, you will evaluate and then utilise your expertise to optimise our client’s taxation activities. Management accounting will form a key aspect of this challenging and rewarding role, which will also require an individual with a strong understanding of compliance. Exceptional communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with auditors, banks and other groups, along with preparing and presenting financial information to the board and shareholders.
Requiring travel on a regular basis, Group Finance Director is a very visible, important position in the firm and offers outstanding career development potential backed by a £130k salary.
