Our clients, an established leisure group, are seeking to appoint a proven and commercially savvy Sales Director to lead their expansion plans.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced individual to join this leisure industry organisation as Sales Director, working from their offices in Reading, Berkshire, to restructure, manage and develop their sales team, and explore new sales channels to increase their profits.

Ideally they are looking for candidates with strong backgrounds in sales and marketing, preferably within the leisure and hospitality sector, having directed national sales teams to achieve outstanding results. You will need to be commercially astute to identify and develop new income streams in a competitive marketplace. Excellent people management and leadership attributes are also a must for this permanent role which will see you reporting directly to the CEO.
Weekly UK travel will be necessary as you work closely with the Business Development Manager and regional sales executives, taking overall responsibility for ensuring that the company’s primary revenue channels and key accounts are running smoothly.
