A permanent role as Health & Safety and Environmental Manager for our retail client based in Norwich.

Our clients, a recognised retail brand with shops throughout the UK are seeking an experienced candidate to provide leadership to their health & safety and environmental function on a national basis. Given that welfare and health and safety to both customers and employees is vital, this is a high profile role. A driving licence is essential to enable the extensive travel involved as you ensure that the highest H&S standards are met throughout their organisation and continuously improved.

Having a wealth of health, safety and environmental experience you will be required to support, advise and train our client’s people, championing best practice and regularly reviewing and developing the company’s policies. You will be accountable for periodic audits, ensuring product placements, packaging and labelling meet current legislation.

A proven professional with a NEBOSH qualification or similar, you will be an exceptional communicator and uphold and promote excellence in health and safety. You will also be responsible for ensuring the company meets both its own and the government’s environmental policies and standards as well as ensuring the company operates to its H&S budgets. This position of responsibility will prove rewarding for the right candidate, and our clients are offering a salary of £60k.
