Executive Recruit have another IT Director job vacancy for a Cambridge based client – handled by our South East office.

Our client, a leading IT services provider in the South East, is looking to appoint an IT Director with extensive change-to-desktop and Citrix experience along with proven management and delivery of IT projects.

Utilising your in-depth understanding of Citrix technology along with desktop telephony and dialler technology, you will be tasked with building an understanding of the client’s existing IT infrastructure systems and ensuring that continuity of service is maintained through expertly-managed resource provision.

In overall charge of a sizeable IT team, you will ensure that SLAs are met, the right infrastructures are in place at all times, and that all facets of internal IT run smoothly, on time and on budget. Equally importantly, you will ensure that your team’s response to change requests made by external clients is prompt, appropriate and forward-thinking.

Recruitment of IT personnel, their development and training will also form part of this permanent role, which will see you working closely with the HR department at various times. Our client is keen to identify an individual with proven experience in IT project management, governance and security. This role would suit someone who shows a positive attitude and composure at all times, who instils confidence in internal and external stakeholders and can present proven arguments regarding the increased adoption of the latest technology.

Reporting to the CEO, the successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of £110k and will be required to travel to the company’s satellite offices around the UK on a quarterly basis, with some overseas travel called upon each year to attend international IT conferences. To apply you must be legally entitled to work in the UK.
