Our Preston-based clients have established an impressive name for themselves and have enjoyed continuous growth over the last few years. They are currently expanding even further with the opening of new stores, product lines and sales channels.
As Sales Director, you will report to the Managing Director and enthusiastically lead their entire UK sales business, seeking to maximise profit by effectively managing the sales function and demonstrating a hunger to establish new sales channels.
Our clients are keen to overhaul their current internet presence, utilising the online market as a key way in which to increase sales and overall profit. This role would therefore particularly suit candidates with a strong background in online sales, seeing you work closely with our client’s Head of Ecommerce.
The Sales Director will ensure that the business’ costs are on budget and that targets are being met by the company’s team of sales representatives, who work throughout the UK. Keeping a close watch on existing accounts to maximise their potential, you will research, identify and develop major new accounts. With exceptional financial and analytical skills, the role will also expect you to monitor sales reports, identify trends and best-seller products and report on the market and its competitors.
Based in the North West, this is a national role with a salary of up to £80k DOE and one that will require regular UK travel. Our clients are looking for high calibre candidates with a proven track record in growth and profitability, having worked for a large company previously.
