An outstanding opportunity to lead procurement at this manufacturing business in the Midlands as they strive to expand internationally.

Firmly established in the industrial sector, our Birmingham-based clients are renowned for being innovative, and using cutting-edge processes and techniques to drive their activities forwards.
Taking the lead in all aspects of procurement, you will be able to quickly form lasting, beneficial relationships with new suppliers as well as maintain strong bonds with existing suppliers. With a firm grasp on the firm’s procurement budget, you will ensure that maximum cost efficiencies are being achieved, so that our client’s business remains as streamlined as possible. Managing a team of category buyers and other supply chain personnel, as well as worldwide suppliers, being fluent in a foreign language would put candidates at a distinct advantage.

Educated to degree level or higher and from a background in supply chain, senior management or similar, you will possess outstanding presentation, analytical and numerical skills and be fully versed in legislation and environmental standards. With a salary of £80k this is an exciting challenge for an experienced procurement manager to further develop their career with a pioneering company at an exciting moment in their history.
