Executive Recruit have another Head of Learning & Development job vacancy for a Bristol based client – handled by our South West office.
If you are passionate about ensuring that a firm’s people receive the best possible training and are engaged, enthusiastic and committed, then this is the ideal role for you.
As Head of L&D for a large telecommunications company in Bristol, you will report to the HR Director, in a significantly autonomous role which will give you the platform to really make your mark. Our client’s CEO and HR Director are hungry to work with someone who will bring fresh, innovative, exciting and engaging ideas to their business.
A large percentage of their employees are call centre personnel or work in the field as engineers. Both groups of people present different but rewarding challenges for you as the new L&D lead. You will be responsible for researching, refining, implementing and evaluating new employee engagement initiatives, designed to nurture a team spirit among their employees.
Our client desires to see a marked improvement in the relationship between sales and customer services staff and senior management, so you will need to be well-connected, having good links with external supplies including but not limited to corporate away-day and team-building companies and training course providers.
The CEO has always been a believer in rewarding hard work, so through your work with the company’s training officers, you will ensure that their R&R programme has a direct, positive influence on employee retention, morale and motivation.
With a salary of £70K depending on experience, this role is commutable from the West Midlands and South West and would suit candidates with a demonstrable track record in L&D leadership at a similarly-sized organisation.
To apply you must be legally entitled to work in the UK. Candidates currently registered with Executive Recruit or associated companies will automatically be considered.
