Executive Recruit have another Group Financial Controller job vacancy for a London based client – handled by our South East office.

At a time of considerable, planned expansion, they are seeking to appoint a Group Financial Controller possessing a strong commercial edge, to lead their finance functions in the short to long terms. An exceptional people person, you must thrive on effective leadership and demonstrate passion in developing the company’s multiple finance teams in a unified manner. You must be as comfortable in assisting direct reports and their teams with daily accounting, invoicing and contractual matters as you are directing the overall objectives of a global organisation. All aspects of finance will come under your remit, from petty cash, payroll and sales ledgers to purchasing, legalities, forecasts and trial balances. The Group Financial Controller will own the company’s accounts, produce management accounts on a monthly basis and manage the balance sheet and P&L.
You will work with the Managing Director and other board members, playing the lead role in shaping their strategy and business plans, bringing an innovative approach to cost-savings and guiding the business to achieving continuous improvements on their bottom line. With exceptional communication skills, you will provide reports and recommendations and promote high standards of employee satisfaction throughout your department.

Candidates will ideally possess experience in grants and other sources of funding, have previously managed multi-million pound budgets and have effectively led teams to achieve success on a regular basis.
