Executive Recruit have another Interim Managing Director job vacancy for a Brighton based client – handled by our South East office.

An exciting 6-month opportunity to lead a major professional services organisation through a period of significant change.

A leader in the professional services and consultancy sector, our Brighton-based clients are well-known on a national level, providing a portfolio of business services to a wide range of organisations in the UK and internationally, from start-ups to blue chip companies.

They are seeking to appoint a Managing Director on an interim basis, initially for six months, to lead them through a time of significant change, overseeing the company’s move to a new, more modern site a few miles away, whilst simultaneously completing two acquisitions of niche professional services firms. You will need to be an effective decision maker, able to guide a large and finely-tuned organisation through changes with minimum disruption. You will work closely with the board, from the Operations Director and IT Director to the OD&P (Organisational Development & People) Director, ensuring that all departments are operating efficiently during this exciting but fluid transition period.

With a strong insight into the activities at both sites, along with the acquisitions, you will ensure that the business’ strategic objectives are met in relation to all projects and change, and as a whole, as they seek to improve their margins and return a higher profit figure compared to the previous financial year.

The role will involve some contact with the media, local community and a range of other stakeholders and you will work closely with our client’s accountants and legal advisors, ensuring that FCA compliancy is an important part of the agenda. Remunerated at £400 per day, this exceptional opportunity would suit someone who has led as a Managing Director previously.
