Executive Recruitm have another COO job vacancy for a Birmingham based client – handled by our Midlands office.

Following restructuring, a fantastic opportunity has arisen within this leisure business for a Chief Operating Officer to take the lead at a time of expansion.

Our client’s business has expanded rapidly and they are now looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer (COO – similar to Operations Director) to inspirationally spearhead the company’s operations as they open a network of sites in the south.
Your priorities will be to maximise profitability by driving sales revenue streams and minimising costs, ensuring that the latest standards in safety are maintained and promoted at all of the company’s sites and that customer services excellence remains unbroken.

You will report to the CEO and work closely with the other directors in developing and implementing drives and initiatives to fulfil the strategic objectives of their leisure business. Ensuring that the best possible processes and policies are in place throughout the enterprise, you will create and promote an ethos of continual improvement.

Frequently visiting the company’s locations and carrying out audits, you will possess considerable experience in ISO 9001/14001, working closely with their quality manager. You must have a strong grasp of P&L, a demonstrable track record in successfully managing a large organisation’s operations, exceptional verbal and written skills, high analytical ability and confidence dealing with large IT systems.

Our clients are based in Birmingham offering an attractive salary subject to your experience, and are looking for someone to take the operational lead as soon as possible.
