A permanent HR Manager vacancy with an established leisure firm based in the vibrant heart of Manchester, with an attractive working culture and great benefits.
Our client is a well-known leisure group with an impressive portfolio of gyms, health clubs and sports centres across the UK. Proudly based in the thriving city of Manchester, the staff at their headquarters are passionate about what they do and how they do it, so this role would be perfect for an HR generalist with an existing interest in leisure, sports or fitness.
Following their successful entry into the highly lucrative luxury spa market, they are looking for a candidate to modernise their HR systems, bring innovative ideas to the table, manage the department’s fixed budget and keep up-to-date with employment legislation.
A high proportion of their 1,700-strong team are employed on a part-time basis, so HR is a busy department, comprising two payroll clerks, two HRBPs and a number of part-time, junior HR assistants. They also employ a learning and development officer. A key element of your job description will be to develop new training ideas to drive employee morale to even higher levels.
A company car is provided with the position and you will be required to travel to our client’s establishments across the UK on a quarterly basis. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a salary of up to £70k depending on experience, with an annual bonus linked to performance.
