Take control of a major industrial company’s extensive facilities and production activities as they seek to maintain a reputation for excellence.

Our clients are well-known within the industrial sector, and are seeking a Director to take responsibility for their vast Facilities & Production departments situated around their expansive main site in Swindon.
The Facilities & Production Director will be the manager of all maintenance and repairs carried out across our client’s facilities, liaising with the company’s senior operations team and also with external contractors to ensure that all areas run smoothly, on time and on budget. You will have a current working knowledge of health and safety, fire risk, safety systems and legislation, guiding your team of officers, engineers and other staff to efficiently undertake necessary tasks when they arise, and to ensure that training is regularly carried out in relevant departments. Other duties in relation to the facilities will include working with other members of the senior management team to manage the departmental budget, so strong communication skills are a must.

Our client’s business relies on efficiency, so you will work closely with the production team to ensure that the production plan is feasible, implemented professionally and regularly evaluated. Our clients plan to increase production in the near future so you must be confident playing a key role in such exciting developments and bring with you several years’ experience in a similar role.

Exceptional organisational, motivational, financial and logistical skills are a must and you will occasionally be required to attend training events and to visit our client’s smaller satellite sites which are mainly administrative. A bonus completes the outstanding remuneration package with a salary of £80-85k.
