Executive Recruit have another Learning & Development Manager job vacancy for a Newcastle based client – handled by our North East office.

Our public sector client is experiencing a time of significant organisational change and requires an experienced L&D Manager to take full ownership.

Joining a social housing organisation in Newcastle, you will design and implement development programmes for leadership and management which are fit for purpose and meet our client’s individual needs as an organisation.
You will report to the OD&P Director and be given full responsibility over training within the organisation, from the design and delivery coaching sessions conducted by the training offices in the department, to the championing of core skills training for all staff.

Managing the fixed training budget, you will ensure that training is delivered effectively, on time and within budget, demonstrating return on investment to the HR Director and wider board. You will need outstanding communications skills, able to engage all stakeholders. Our clients are looking for someone who has worked with IT teams before, designing and implementing highly engaging employee intranet portals from where certain training documentation and online videos can be accessed. The L&D Manager will also work closely with the HR department in modernising the way training records are processed, maintained and accessed.

Possessing a good understanding of diversity, inclusion, equality and other legislation, along with a background in HR, sales, training and/or management, our client seeks someone who is CIPD qualified and familiar with HR and L&D systems.
If you are passionate about people and ensuring that they are engaged, focussed and rewarded, it will put you in good stead for this role, which will also involve designing, implementing and evaluating new reward and recognition schemes for our client. In return they are offering a salary of up to £60,000 DOE.
