This is a role well-suited to individuals with a zeal for playing a pivotal role in influencing a company’s bottom line. As Business Development Director for our HR sector client in Newbury, you will take responsibility for their entire business development activities, driving sales, strengthening relationships and increasing profitability across current and new accounts.
All strategic and operational marketing and customer relationship activities will come under your experienced guidance and our client seeks someone who is willing to firmly take ownership of the role. They have stringent and ambitious growth targets, a key aspect of this role being to drive increased revenue and profit to achieve these.
Candidates will need to be proactive, well-connected, experienced professionals from a sales or business development background, with a sound understanding of the HR sector. Planning, hands-on implementation and evaluation of market penetration and revenue maximisation initiatives will be completely managed by the Business Development Director, and our client expects full market feedback and updates to be provided at timely intervals to their senior management team and directors.
Confidence in researching, developing and pitching for new business in a corporate-focussed environment is a must and this permanent role will provide a great degree of autonomy, rewarded with outstanding bonus potential.
