Executive Recruit have another Group Financial Controller job vacancy for a Marlow based client – handled by our South East office.

A hands-on role managing the finance function and shaping the strategic vision of our fast-growing, major construction client in the South East.

Innovation, dynamism and a bold vision have seen this construction company flourish through the financial downturn. Their client portfolio, organisation and profitability having gone from strength to strength, resulting in recognition from inside and outside the industry. They have recently undergone a review of their financial structure and seek to appoint a Group Financial Officer to take the lead as they embark on their aggressive expansion plans.

Commercially astute and possessing a strong technical knowledge of construction, this role will see the successful candidate reporting to the CEO and leading all aspects of finance, from managing the head office and satellite teams and overseeing tax, compliance and management information, to shaping the company’s financial strategy.
A challenging, rewarding role, you will supply cost centre managers with accurate, concise budgetary analysis. You will also provide monthly management accounts, preside over all VAT, payroll, tax and audit matters, and take charge over cash processes and forecasts.

Passionate for best practice, you will possess at least 8 years’ experience in a comparable senior finance role, demonstrate exceptional communication skills and be a qualified accountant. The ability to work well with other departments and individuals is a must, along with a proactive, hands-on approach.

For candidates with the right experience, a visionary and innovative attitude, and a hunger to deliver success whilst developing their own career, the salary offered by our client is in the region of £120k DOE.
