A rare opportunity has arisen to work as Head of Resourcing at a not-for-profit organisation within their main operational centre based in Edinburgh.

Our client is a global NGO (Non-Governmental Organisation) who is looking to appoint a new Head of Resourcing to oversee their internationally-based employees. Ensuring that the most talented and suitable individuals are positioned in the right roles in order to maximise their potential is key to achieving their aims.

This is a specialist role that requires an experienced HR manager or HR director who can operate internationally and who is aware of political, cultural and societal developments around the world.
The organisation’s global team comprises of a wide mix of people, from full time, commercially astute managers and part time consultants, to volunteers whose primary concern is ensuring that aid reaches the people that need it.
You must be an exceptional people manager, able to motivate, engage and lead, with previous experience working in the NFP sector, perhaps backed up by volunteering experience in your career history.

Managing budgets and being financially astute you must be able to demonstrate how you have delivered business improvement and cost-savings simultaneously. With a salary of upto £65,000 and a significant amount of international travel, this role would suit someone who embraces culture and wants to play a significant role in delivering real, positive chance to both this organisation and those whom they support.
