Executive Recruit have another Group Finance Director job vacancy for a Chester based client – handled by our North West office.

Direct our media and digital client’s financial function in a role with an outstanding package, based in the vibrant city of Chester.

Our client is a leader in the media and digital sector, with a number of offices and a portfolio of services including web development, publishing and video production. They are looking to appoint a Group Finance Director with the experience required to take charge of their finance team and strengthen their high quality service and resultant profitability.
Working closely with the Managing Director, Chairman and other board members, you will manage robust financial systems, policies and planning, and develop the company’s business plan. Providing strong vision, motivation and leadership to the finance team, you will direct all financial aspects and operations in a timely, successful manner, regularly evaluating performance and making insightful recommendations.
All budgets will be ultimately managed by you, using your experience in ensuring that the company’s finances are fully compliant, with robust controls implemented, maintaining a strong financial platform from which to grow.

Candidates must be commercially astute and hold a formal accountancy qualification, recently having worked in a senior finance role, ideally in the media sector. You must be driven, determined, accurate and flexible, bringing a fresh approach to the function.

Based in Chester, the role carries a salary of £85-95k depending on experience, with an exceptional bonus scheme and company car.
