An interim role for an exciting professional services firm in Leeds, taking responsibility for managing their impressive IT systems.

The opportunity to be appointed as IT Manager for this well-regarded and hugely successful professional services firm isn’t likely to reappear again and is a highly sought-after role, materialising as an interim role to cover 9 months maternity leave.
Our client’s Leeds office employs a large number of staff, the majority relying heavily on the smooth running of the company’s computer systems, making system uptime and availability key priorities for the IT Manager. You will need the ability to quickly absorb information and familiarise yourself with their IT systems, from their mainframe server rooms and miles of cables, to their ‘follow me’ printers, photocopiers and other devices.

You will be Microsoft certified, with good working knowledge of all major IT systems, from Cisco and Citrix to .NET and virtualisation. Training the IT team and wider employee base in collaboration with the HR department will also fall under your remit and this role will require you to be on-call outside working hours.

An influencer and strong communicator, you will be confident chairing meetings with the IT Director and the wider board, along with other stakeholders you will come into contact with. This outstanding role will be rewarded with £350 per day depending on your levels of experience and your current domicile.
