A leading manufacturer in the South East seeks to appoint a Finance Director as they expand their activities internationally.

Our clients operate at the forefront of their niche in the manufacturing sector and their specialist products are in high demand. Having experienced years of strong, successive growth here in the UK they are now looking to develop their business internationally. A professionally qualified accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior role, you will lead a small finance team, motivating and mentoring them to support long-term strategies. Overseeing all planning, monitoring and performance reporting, you will work closely with the Senior Management Team and provide them with accurate information. Financial policies, processes and systems will all form important parts of this permanent role which will be well-suited to individuals with a background in manufacturing. Experience with international business and supply chain will also put you at an advantage, as you will be expected to reduce costs and maximise profits by working with the supply chain team in negotiating new supplier relationships and contracts.

Regulatory compliance will come under your supervision, along with licensing, patents, investments and recruitment within the finance function. You will have a demonstrable record of success in managing a finance team in a business of a similar size and be adept at communicating with the board.
