Situated in a region rich in maritime history and coastal activity, this vacancy with our construction industry clients offers a refreshingly unique opportunity. As General Manager, you will oversee that all of these operations run smoothly from all angles, from efficient and successful HR activities and an engaged employee base, to legally compliant and environmentally sound working practices and profitable, results-focussed financial operations.

Reporting to the Managing Director, your direct reports will include the local project managers at each client construction site, local factory, warehouse and office administration managers, the company’s H&S Manager, Quality Manager and our client’s business development and client account executives.

Rewarded with a salary of £80-90k, you will ensure that all documentation is up to date and that all processes are aligned with the business’ commercial objectives. A strong communicator able to work with a wide range of shareholders, you will have previous experience in a senior position ideally within the construction industry and be able to show the commitment and enthusiasm the role requires.
