Our client’s products are constantly in high demand here in the UK and they require a visionary to apply their expertise in logistics, opening up overseas distribution and sales.
Managing a team of dynamic logistics personnel, you will possess experience in international business and fully grasp the complexities of exporting. Formulating and implementing a logistics plan for their UK and overseas operations, you will research, identify and form relations with new distributors and other partners.
Ideally educated to Masters standard, the Logistics Director will be required to regularly travel in the UK and internationally, best suiting candidates who can allow for some flexibility. You will champion continuous improvement across our client’s logistics and transport operations and manage a substantial budget in the tens of millions. You must be able to demonstrate having designed and implemented logistical solutions, made supply chain improvements and having taken responsibility for senior strategies.

A strong communicator, the successful candidate will be adept at evaluating performance and making recommendations at board level, managing a team to meet SLAs and providing expert leadership during periods of rapid expansion. This permanent position attracts a salary of £70k and you will be based in Telford.
