Executive Recruit have another Finance Director job vacancy for a St Albans based client – handled by our South East office.
A fully qualified professional is required to join this leading engineering company on a permanent basis as they continue growing strongly.
Based at their headquarters in Hertfordshire, the opportunity to lead the finance function of this respected and rapidly expanding engineering business will prove rewarding. You will utilise your years of experience as an FD to guide the team and its activities to achieve the firm’s ambitious expansion targets as they enter new markets.
Key responsibilities will include the coordination and preparation of all financial reports, ensuring all information is accurate and effective. Working closely with the Managing Director and other board members, you will play an instrumental role in shaping the overall business plan and continued aims of the company. FDs with previous experience working for internationally-trading organisations are preferred.
The incumbent FD will ultimately manage all cash flow, payroll, assets, accounts payable and receivable, reporting, general accounting, tax and compliance. You will also be responsible for recruitment, retention, coaching and mentoring the finance team.
A chartered accountant with ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you will possess demonstrable experience and an outstanding track record in a similar senior role and have a hunger for success. You will show strong communications skills, an analytical mind and a firm grasp of compliance especially relating to the engineering sector. Technical engineering knowledge and a foreign language will be to your advantage.
Based in St Albans with regular travel required, our client’s organisation is an attractive prospect for the right candidate, who will be remunerated with a salary of between £75-85k, depending on experience, along with outstanding benefits.
