An exciting and well-remunerated HR Director role working for a successful and forward-thinking IT consultancy in the heart of the city.
Our client is a plc at the cutting edge of IT and in recent years has lead some of the most complex, innovative and highly rewarding systems integrations in the marketplace. Employing some of the world’s foremost pioneers in IT architecture, their unparalleled success and rapid expansion means they are now seeking to appoint an HR Director to expertly steer their people as they continue to grow.
Working closely with the firm’s existing HR Manager, HR Business Partners and wider personnel support staff, the HR Director will report to the board, headed by one of the city’s most entrepreneurial MDs. Their success as an IT consultancy is largely down to their incredible people and the role will involve not only the bureaucratic functions of HR and planning and managing the department’s budget but also in devising and implementing fresh and exciting new ways of keeping everyone around the business engaged. You will regularly liaise with various internal and external stakeholders, including the company’s pension auto enrolment scheme provider, as well as keeping abreast of ever-changing employment legislation.
A permanent, full-time role, the successful candidate needs to be an outstanding ‘people person’, able to build relationships with a wide range of individuals from the security guards and account executives to the firm’s board of directors and the city. You will need to possess at least five years’ experience as an HR Director in a similarly large business. Applicants who have previously worked in the IT sector will be given a preference.
